Common problems in the use of shot blasting machine

1. The dust of the dust collector contains steel shot:

 

If the air volume of the separator is too large, adjust the tuyere baffle properly until the dust removal effect can be ensured, but it is better not to suck out the steel shot.

 

2. The dust removal efficiency of the dust collector is low:

 

(1) The wiring of the dust collector fan is wrong, the fan is reversed, and the wiring is re-wired;

 

(2) The filter cartridge in the dust collector is not installed firmly or damaged, or lacks the filter cartridge;

 

(3) The joints of the dust removal pipelines are not well sealed to ensure the sealing of all parts;

 

(4) The cleaned work piece does not fall out as required, too much molding sand remains, and the dust content of the dust removal inlet is too high;

 

(5) The blowback mechanism of the dust collector is not activated, or the number of activations is small, and the filter cartridge is blocked by dust, and the dust attached to the filter cartridge is timely removed.

 

3. The bucket elevator does not work:

 

(1) Clamp and remove the oversized particles at the bottom of the elevator;

 

(2) The belt slips, adjust the drive wheel tensioning device to tighten the belt;

 

(3) There are too many steel shots at the bottom of the hoist. Stop the machine in order and remove the shots.

 

4. The cleaning effect of the shot blasting machine is not ideal:

 

(1) The supply of steel shots is insufficient, and new steel shots should be added appropriately;

 

(2) The ejection direction of the shot blasting device is not accurate, adjust the window position of the control cage of the shot blasting device;

 

(3) The grain size of steel shot is suitable, and the grain size of steel shot should be reselected

 

(4) If the steel shot is agglomerated or used for too long, replace the steel shot.

 

5. The door of the blasting room does not work well or cannot be opened:

 

The lubrication of the door shaft is not good, so add lubricating oil.

 

6. The parking action of the machine is not agile or does not follow the prescribed action:

 

(1) Relevant electrical components are damaged, check and replace;

 

(2) Too much dust and dirt in the electrical box, and poor electrical contact points;

 

(3) Too much dust and dirt on the time relay, and poor electrical contact.

 

7. The screw conveyor does not work:

 

(1) The steel shot is blocked, shut down in order and remove the steel shot;

 

(2) The screw conveyor shaft is bent to correct or polish the outer diameter of the blade;

 

(3) The welding seam of the screw conveyor shaft head is broken and re-welding.

 

8. Poor separation effect of separator:

 

(1) Uneven flow curtain, adjust the flow control panel to achieve full curtain;

 

(2) The wind speed in the separation zone is suitable. Adjust the butterfly valve of the separator tuyere to make the wind speed in the separation zone reach 45m/s, and adjust the position of the first and second regulating plates.
